Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the Future and the Future GLX?
Both models share the same 1.8KW power, 80m/s air speed, infrared operation, and chrome finish. The Future GLX (£269) adds a dedicated 1250W heater element with its own dual thermal protection system (auto-resetting thermostat + thermal fuse), providing more controlled warm air output and additional safety features. The Future (£199) is the more affordable option with the same core drying performance.
What does IPX1 mean?
IPX1 means the unit is protected against vertically falling water drops (drip-proof). It is suitable for bathroom installation away from direct water spray. The unit should not be positioned where it may be subject to water splashing from the sides.
Is professional installation required?
Yes — the dryer requires a mains electrical connection (220–240V) and wall mounting. Installation by a qualified electrician is strongly recommended, particularly in commercial environments.
How does the infrared sensor work?
The self-adjusting infrared sensor detects hands within a 9–15cm range and starts the dryer automatically. It stops as soon as hands are removed, with a 30-second maximum run time as a safety cut-off.
Can I order if the item shows as out of stock?
Yes — this product is available to order even when stock shows as zero. Please allow additional lead time for out-of-stock items.
