What is the difference between a standard and SELV module?
Standard modules operate at 240V AC and are for use with standard mains-powered iCON fans. SELV modules operate at 12V DC and are for use with SELV (low voltage) iCON fans, which are safe for Zone 1 bathroom installations. Using the wrong module type will damage your fan — always match the module voltage to your fan.
What does PIR motion detection do?
A PIR (Passive Infrared) motion sensor activates the fan automatically when movement is detected in the room, and switches it off (or runs an overrun timer) when no movement is detected. This is ideal for shared bathrooms or utility rooms where you want fully automatic operation.
How long will delivery take?
