Description
The Abode Uno Concealed Push Button Shower Valve combines intuitive push button operation with thermostatic temperature control in a compact mini format. The soft square control plate (167×100mm) coordinates beautifully with the Uno and Levarto brassware collections. The 2-exit configuration allows independent control of two separate shower outlets — for example, a fixed overhead head and a handheld shower. The included AI Box (Advanced Installation Box) simplifies the first-fix stage with a pre-assembled valve body. Concealed installation hides all pipework within the wall for a clean, minimalist finish. Backed by a 2-year guarantee as standard, extendable to 15 years on product registration.
⚠️ Concealed installation — professional installation essential. The AI Box valve body must be fitted during first fix, before tiling. Shower head, handset, and outlet accessories are
not included — sold separately. Please confirm minimum pressure requirements before ordering — call
01603 381095.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a push button shower valve?
A push button shower valve uses individual push buttons to select and activate each shower outlet, rather than traditional rotary controls. Each button controls one outlet — press once to activate, press again to deactivate. Temperature is controlled separately by a thermostatic dial. Push button controls are intuitive, easy to operate with wet or soapy hands, and give a clean, modern aesthetic on the control plate.
What is the AI Box?
The AI Box (Advanced Installation Box) is a pre-assembled valve body unit that simplifies the first-fix installation stage. It provides accurate positioning, integrated waterproofing, and easier access for future maintenance. It is included with the valve at no extra cost.
What does 2 exit mean?
A 2-exit valve has two separate outlet ports, each controlled by its own push button. This allows you to connect two different shower outlets — for example, a fixed overhead shower head and a handheld shower — and activate each independently or simultaneously.
Are shower heads and accessories included?
No — the valve, control plate, and AI Box are included, but shower heads, handsets, rails, arms, and body jets are sold separately. See the “What You’ll Also Need” section above for compatible Uno accessories.
When does the valve body need to be installed?
The AI Box valve body must be installed during first fix — before plastering and tiling. The control plate is fitted after tiling is complete. Professional installation by a qualified plumber is essential.
What finishes are available?
Chrome, Matt Black, and Brushed Brass. Select your preferred finish from the dropdown above. All three finishes are on display in our Norwich showroom. For a coordinated installation, choose the same finish across your shower arm, fixed head, and hand shower set.
How do I extend the guarantee to 15 years?
Register your product with Abode after purchase. Details are included in the guarantee documentation supplied with the valve. The standard guarantee is 2 years; registration extends this to 15 years.
Can I order if the item shows as out of stock?
Yes — we can fulfil this product even when stock shows as zero. Place your order as normal and we'll confirm lead time with you, or call us on 01603 381095.
