A cold start valve defaults to cold water when the tap handle is in the central (straight up) position. Hot water is only delivered when you deliberately move the handle to the left. The Levarto wall mounted mixer operates from a minimum of 0.4 bar, making it suitable for gravity-fed systems, combi boilers, and mains pressure supplies.
Do I need a plumber to install a wall mounted tap?
Yes — professional installation is essential. The hot and cold supply pipes must be positioned within the wall at the correct centres before tiling, as they cannot be adjusted afterwards. Incorrect pipe positioning is the most common installation error with wall mounted taps. We strongly recommend agreeing pipe positions with your plumber before any tiling work begins.
