PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) creates a molecular bond with the stainless steel substrate through a vacuum deposition process. Unlike painted or powder-coated black finishes which can chip, scratch, or wear away over time, PVD black is virtually impossible to damage — the colour is part of the material, not a surface layer applied on top. Your basin will maintain its matt black appearance for decades.
What is the nano coating?
The nano coating creates microscopic surface structures that repel water at a molecular level, preventing water spots, soap scum, and limescale deposits. It also resists fingerprints and smudges — a particular benefit on dark finishes where marks are more visible. Simply wipe dry after use.
