Is this mirror hardwired or plug-in?
The Prestige Halo connects via a 900mm cable and should be wired to a switched fused spur by a qualified electrician. It is not a plug-in mirror.
Can I use the shaver socket for devices other than shavers?
The integrated socket is designed for low-wattage grooming devices such as electric shavers and electric toothbrushes. It is not suitable for high-wattage appliances.
Does the demister stay on all the time?
No — the demister pad has a built-in 30-minute auto shut-off to conserve energy. It activates when the mirror is switched on and turns off automatically after 30 minutes.
Can I adjust both brightness and colour temperature independently?
Yes. The dual touch sensors allow independent control of dimming and colour temperature. One sensor handles on/off and brightness; the other cycles through the three colour temperature settings.
Is this mirror suitable for Zone 1 or Zone 2 installation?
The Prestige Halo is IP44 rated, making it suitable for Zone 2 (areas more than 0.6m from a bath or shower). It is not rated for Zone 1 installation. Always consult a qualified electrician for bathroom electrical work.
