Cartridge Types Explained
Ceramic Disc Cartridges (Quarter-Turn): Modern tap mechanism operating with a 90° turn from off to full flow. Two ceramic discs slide over each other to control water flow. Found in most contemporary taps manufactured from the 1990s onwards. Durable, smooth, and drip-free.
Full-Turn Cartridges (Traditional): Classic multi-turn mechanism found in traditional taps and older installations. The UC series covers the most common full-turn cartridge sizes in UK properties.
How to Use the Cartridge Finder Tool
The included finder tool lets you measure cartridge dimensions on-site and match them to the reference chart — without removing the old cartridge first. Simply measure, match, and select the correct cartridge from the kit for a first-time-right replacement every time.
