Is this fitting suitable for use directly above a shower or bath?
Yes. The IP65 rating makes this downlight suitable for bathroom Zone 1 — directly above the bath or shower enclosure — as well as Zone 2 and general bathroom areas.
What size hole do I need to cut?
For standard 12.5mm plasterboard (30-minute fire-rated ceilings), cut a Ø 71–73mm hole. For 30mm thick ceilings (60–90 minute fire rating), cut Ø 80mm. Minimum ceiling void required is 75mm.
Is this downlight dimmable?
No — this fitting is non-dimmable. Please ensure your circuit does not use a dimmer switch.
Does it require an earth connection?
Yes. This is a Class I fitting and must be connected to an earth (ground) wire. It should be installed by a qualified electrician.
What is the condition of clearance stock?
This is new old stock from a discontinued JCC range. The downlights themselves are brand new and fully tested — only the outer packaging may show minor cosmetic wear from storage.
