This is a slotted waste — it has a slot in the body that allows overflow water to drain. If your basin has an overflow hole near the top rim, you need a slotted waste. If your basin has no overflow, you need an unslotted waste. Always match the waste type to your basin.

Installation Guide
- Clean and dry the basin waste hole
- Place rubber washer on the underside of the waste body
- Insert waste body through the basin hole from above
- Hand-tighten the backnut from underneath, then wrench-tighten
- Connect bottle trap or P-trap to the waste outlet
- Insert the removable clic-clac plug
- Test operation and check for leaks

Remove the plug weekly to clear hair and debris. Wipe the chrome body with a soft damp cloth — avoid abrasive cleaners. If the clic-clac action stiffens, apply a small amount of silicone lubricant to the mechanism.
