This remote is compatible with Aqualisa Quartz Touch and Optic Q digital shower systems only. It is not compatible with Quartz Classic, Quartz Plus, or any other Aqualisa range. If you’re unsure of your model, check the SmartValve™ unit or contact us on 01603 381095.
Does it need wiring?
No — this is a fully wireless remote. It communicates with the SmartValve™ wirelessly up to 10 metres. It is powered by a single lithium ion 3.6V battery which is included in the box.
Can I wall-mount it?
Yes — wall-mounting fixings are included. Alternatively, the remote can be placed freely on any flat surface such as a bath surround, shelf, or windowsill.
What does the warm and ready indicator do?
The warm and ready indicator light illuminates when the water has reached your pre-set temperature. This means you can start the shower remotely and step in only when it’s at the perfect temperature — no cold starts, no wasted water.
Can I use this to control a bath overflow filler?
Yes — the remote is compatible with the Aqualisa Bath Overflow Filler when used as part of a Quartz Touch or Optic Q system, allowing you to control both shower and bath from one remote.
