Which Aqualisa Quartz showers is this compatible with?
This remote is compatible with Aqualisa Quartz Classic digital shower systems (2020 models) that have a diverter valve installed. It will not work with Quartz systems without a diverter valve, or with Quartz Touch/Quartz Plus models. If you're unsure, check your processor model number or contact us on 01603 381095.
Does this remote control temperature?
No — temperature is set and controlled via the main Quartz processor unit. This remote provides diverter outlet switching and start/stop control only.
Is this wireless or wired?
This is a wired remote. It connects via cable to your Quartz processor and diverter valve, ensuring reliable, battery-free operation. For a wireless option, see the DVWR.14.
Do I need a diverter valve already installed?
Yes — this remote requires a compatible Aqualisa diverter valve to be installed in your shower system. The diverter valve and connection cable are sold separately.
How many outlets can I control?
This depends on your diverter valve configuration. Most Aqualisa diverter valves support 2–3 outlets (e.g. overhead shower, handheld, body jets).
Is professional installation required?
Yes — we recommend installation by a qualified plumber or electrician to ensure correct cable routing and connection to the Quartz processor.
