Frequently Asked Questions
How does this basin differ from the Swan Glebe 610×480mm basin?
This basin (SWFU070) is 400mm deep, making it the slimmer option. The 610×480mm basin (SWFU010) is 80mm deeper and better suited to larger vanity units or worktops with more projection. Both are 610mm wide with a single tap hole and gloss white finish.
What is the difference between inset and countertop (sit-on) installation?
Inset installation means the basin drops into a cutout in a worktop or vanity unit top, sitting flush with the surface. Countertop / sit-on installation means the basin sits on top of the vanity unit surface without a cutout. This basin supports both methods — check your vanity unit's compatibility before ordering.
What tap do I need for this basin?
This basin has a single central tap hole, so you need a mono basin mixer tap. Ensure the tap has a standard ½" BSP connection and that the spout reach is appropriate for the basin depth. Contact us on 01603 381095 if you need help selecting a compatible tap.
Does this basin include a waste?
No — a basin waste is not included. We stock the Roper Rhodes Universal Click Clack Basin Waste in black, gunmetal, or brushed brass — a universal fit suitable for this basin.
Can I order if the item shows as out of stock?
Yes — we can fulfil this product even when stock shows as zero. Place your order as normal and we'll confirm lead time with you, or call us on 01603 381095.
