Frequently Asked Questions
How does the self-cleaning mechanism work?
Integrated pins help dislodge limescale deposits from the spray outlets when the cleaning mechanism is operated through the massage setting. Follow the supplied instructions for use. Self-cleaning jets do not mean the whole handset is maintenance-free.
Is it suitable for hard-water areas?
The pin-jet mechanism helps manage deposits at the outlets, making it a useful option where limescale is a recurring issue. Regular cleaning and care are still needed, particularly on the handset surface.
Does it increase water pressure?
No. It is not a pressure-boosting device. Keeping the spray outlets clear can help maintain spray performance, but the result depends on your water supply and shower installation.
How do I change the spray setting?
Rotate the crown of the handset to select a different spray pattern, following the supplied operating instructions.
Will it fit my existing shower?
The handset has a standard ½" BSP connection for a matching shower hose. Check your hose fitting and your shower manufacturer's handset requirements before ordering, especially for an electric shower. For help, email customerservice@bubblegumbathrooms.co.uk or call 01603 381095.
Which finish options are available?
Choose Chrome/White, SKU 71010, or Black, SKU 71060. Select the required finish before adding the handset to your basket.
Can I order if the item shows as out of stock?
Yes, both finish options can be ordered when out of stock. Your order will be dispatched once stock is available. For an availability estimate, email customerservice@bubblegumbathrooms.co.uk or call 01603 381095.
